Fulfillment.com recently made page 1 of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in an article about how the e-commerce boom has affected both logistics services and the Ports that serve them. Bob Bilbrough, our COO and co-owner, was quoted when discussing how crucial it is to our business that the Ports are only 18 miles away. The ability of our clients to get their products to us quickly allows them to get those products to their customers faster through our US network of fulfillment centers.

The Savannah port is now the 2nd busiest on the East Coast, and still in the process of growing. Fufillment.com has grown as well due to the spike in e-commerce orders during the pandemic. Doubling our workforce and tripling our warehouse space is only the beginning of what’s in store for the near future. Many of our clients were able to utilize the e-commerce shopping wave to boost their own growth, introduce new products to the market, and offer their products on more platforms. We have seen record numbers this past year, and do not expect to see those decrease.

The world and consumers’ shopping habits have certainly changed in the wake of shutdowns, quarantines, and social distancing brought about by the pandemic. It is highly unlikely that it will change moving forward as more consumers are comfortable ordering online, more products are available online, and shipments are received quickly now as the logistics infrastructure has adapted to the increased volume.

Fulfillment.com is dedicated to enabling ecommerce sellers to sell across the globe with an efficient network of 8 warehouses, personalized service, and amazing staff supporting our clients every step of the way. For more information, see the full article here.
